Where to get some Christmas Bargins?
If you are anything like me getting Christmas presents before Christmas Eve doesn’t happen unless I make the most of the internet. Many of us take it for granted but some are only just beginning to take advantage of the convenience and bargains that online shopping offers!
After being asked recently where is the best place to get a number of different items on the internet I thought I would share some of Brandstar’s favourite online shops! We even have a convenient search page with a google search box and a host of affiliate links to some of our favourite stores
Amazon.co.uk- one of the biggest online stores in the world. Amazon has a huge range of products to offer and with free delivery for most orders over £15 it has to be a good place to start for books, CD’s, DVD’s, Electronics, gifts and loads more.
Misco.co.uk - one of our favourite suppliers for electrical goods, computer components, digital cameras, printers, scanners, networking gear and more.
Play.com - If Amazon can’t meet your CD / DVD needs then play has to be the place to be and with free delivery on all it’s orders! Play.com has some great offers on throughout the year and Christmas time is no exception! They also offer books and electronics and although there is a good selection I only tend to use play.com for CD & DVD’s.
BangCD - If you are in a rush then use Amazon or Play and you will get a good deal. But if you are wanting to scout around for CD’s then check these guys out. From time to time I find a few nice little gems here
Getting your photos printed…most people now have a digital camera and print their own images, but it is well worth checking out some of the companies on the web that print images for you. Very often this will work out cheaper than printing them yourself but what is well worth taking advantage of is their 30 free prints offer to check out their service first! Some will ask you to pay for delivery but for 30 free prints it is worth it! So which companies offer this fantastic deal? Quite a few actually…
- Jessops and HP run the Snapfish service
- Photobox.co.uk
- FOTO.com
- bonusprint.co.uk - only 10 free prints
- Kodak - 20free prints if you create a gallery
- MyPixmania.co.uk
If you want your orders before Christmas then please check with the supplier that you have not missed their cut off date!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at Brandstar UK Limited

I can recommend Play, Amazon and BangCD. All extremely reliable so it’s worth checking them all out to get the best deal! Some items on Amazon and Play can be bought from various registered resellers, not just Amazon and Play. You can also save a few quid by buying second hand items if you wanted! I’ve used them both for a variety of products, from Books to CD’s to DVD’s to Electrical Appliances.
